Every year, we will include a list of quality international schools that they can provide high standard of education to the students in Hong Kong. Lists will be updated on a regular basis. We aim to make available information relating to international schools in Hong Kong for the parents, existing and potential school operators and the community.
In Hong Kong, international schools generally refer to those which follow a full non-local curriculum designed for the needs of a particular cultural or linguistic group and/or whose students do not sit for local examinations. Currently students come from anywhere in the world and also in Hong Kong as there is a trend that certain amount of local parents tend to transfer their child from local schools to international schools. International schools are operated on a self-financing and market-driven basis. They are part of the private school sector.
