Many parents spend a minimum of HK$300,000 to arrange their kids to study in UK Boarding school in order to pave a better way for them to get admitted to UK university apart from catching up the English proficiency standard, they hope that their children can adapt to the learning environment of UK and also the learning mode earlier.

If they cannot meet the requirement from the university, they can consider to apply for the below courses first: -

Foundation Year (1 Year)

Foundationcourse lasts for a year, its teaching mode is similar to that of the university.  If the student can meet the requirement of the university, he/she can upgrade to the First Year of Bachelor Degree at the University.

Diploma ( 1 Year)
Diplomais equivalent to the first year of the bachelor, the admission requirement is higher than that of Foundation course.  Student who finishes the diploma course and can meet the requirement are eligible to upgrade to the second year of the Degree at the University.

University Degree (3 – 4 years)

Ireland, Wales and North Wales University has a 3-year degree course, Scotland has a 4-year course.  Hong Kong Students can get the best 3 subjects scored from the DSE (4.3.3. – 5.5) and DSE English to get grade 4 or get a score of 6 at IELTS, to get admitted to the UK University.
